About the Artist
Born in Tuba City, Arizona, on the Navajo Indian reservation in 1990, Jonathan "Jon" Davis swiftly found his artistic calling. His journey from singing at age five in Colorado to studying acting and music in Los Angeles eventually led him to New York City in 2013, where he channeled his experiences into crafting his unique musical style.
Trained by esteemed vocal coaches Seth Riggs, who honed the voice of Josh Groban, and renowned opera singer Karen Parks, Jon rapidly made his mark on the pop/soul/EDM scene. His lyrical prowess and powerful vocals have earned his early releases like "Easy", "Goodbye", and "You Will Be Loved" spots on global playlists, including Spotify's Discover Weekly and LÜM Music's "PopX" and "Today's Top Hits".
2017 was a pivotal year for Jon. He signed his first production deal, delivered a debut performance of original material at the famous Triad Theater, and soon after, signed a publishing deal. Collaborations with Sony/ATV Music Producer Christopher 'C-Ray' Roberts and Luiz Serva, and releases through independent labels with BoyPanda Music, Marvin Klein, and Tilci & Gas, followed, solidifying his place in the music industry.
Jon's achievements stretch across various facets of the entertainment industry. He kick-started his acting career at 18, earning his SAG Card and starring in two independent films. His talent soon got him a feature on NBC's Bent, starring Amanda Peet. Commercial and print work for prominent brands like Little Caesars, Wells Fargo, and Jim's Formalwear further solidified his prowess in the acting sphere.
Music, however, remained his primary passion. Besides donating his music to the Songs of Love Organization and creating the heartfelt "One Wish" for a Regional Children's Hospice – a music video that won a Telly Award – in 2013, Jon also had the thrilling experience of performing as a backup vocalist with the Grammy Award-winning group Ok Go! on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Craig Ferguson, and Conan O'Brien, highlighting their song "This Too Shall Pass".
Moreover, Jon's commitment to the arts community is evident in his role as the youngest board director of Arts United South Florida. With 2 cover features on Hot Spots Magazine, a feature in Passport Magazine, a scheduled appearance in the Broward Center Performing Art Series in 2024, and more. Jon is undeniably driven to become an influential figure in the arts scene. Keep an eye out for more exciting projects and new music on the horizon.
